A Sink is a Sink is a Sink; Yes and No.

kitchen sinkSink.  If you say it over and over and look at it, it is a strange word by itself.  When people call their plumber in the Sarasota/Bradenton area and say my sink is leaking, most plumbers will think kitchen sink.

The definition of a sink is ” a wide bowl that has a faucet for water and a drain at the bottom and is usually positioned in a counter or on a pedestal.” So people call every bowl in their house a sink.

When a plumber gets called out to a job for a sink that is leaking, he had better have a fully stocked plumbing truck, because he could be working on the kitchen sink, the bathroom sink, the laundry room sink or the bar sink.  Each of these sinks require different parts that could be the cause of the leak.

It would be best for you, the customer,  if the plumbing company’s secretary asks you specific questions about your sink problem; is it your bathroom lavatory, kitchen sink, bar sink or laundry sink that needs repairing?  That way the plumbing professional knows what to be prepared for.

Make sure the company you call sends you a licensed plumber, not a helper who they call a plumber. If you are going to pay for a plumber, shouldn’t he or she be a plumber and not a tech?

When any of your sinks leak, Wimpy’s Dependable Plumbing will send you out a Florida State Certified, Licensed Master Plumber, with a fully stocked truck to take care of your problems.

We are available 24/7 to serve Longboat Key, Sarasota, Osprey, Old Miakka, Myakka City, Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton. Call 941-322-1911 or schedule on line at www.LoveYourPlumber.com

We can fix your sink or your sink or your other sink. A sink is a sink is a sink.
