- LOVE HORSES
I find most people love animals. It really doesn’t matter what kind of animal. Just yesterday I saw a teenage girl walking her Llamas’ down a paved road. Of course I slowed my plumbing truck way down, as to not frighten the animals, and it just so happened that I had my window down. The girl thanked me for slowing down. I got to look at her animals closely and they looked at me. You could just see their personality shine through their eyes.
Most people who own horses, love them. They are like a second child. Horses have different personalities, just like people. Some folks keep their horses in elaborate barns, with automatic water fillers, heat and air conditioning and some just have lean to sheds.
But the thing everyone has in common is the love for their animal. I run into folks who have had their horses for over twenty years. Usually from birth to present.
2. TRAIN ANIMALS
People love to raise up, train them, groom them, feed them and give them the best of care. No wonder they are just like children to them. But just like us, they get older and older. They start to have health issues. The vet comes out more and more often.
3. HORSE BURIAL
Then one day, the horse doctor tells you that in the animals best interest, your beloved pet needs to be put down. You know it in your heart, but it is a very difficult thing to do.
Now you are going to have to find someone bury your best friend. Who do you call to handle such a large animal in a gentle way? Who will treat your animal with respect and dignity? Who will understand the grief and sorrow that you are feeling? Who will get there promptly?
